About Me

Hey, I'm Emmanuel

I'm a frontend developer from Nigeria, known online and in creative circles as BlackSILV. I build web experiences that are fast, beautiful, and purposeful — the kind that people actually enjoy using.

I started coding out of curiosity and stayed because of the power it gives — the ability to take an idea from your head and put it in front of thousands of people with nothing but a browser. That still amazes me.

I'm currently a 100-level Electrical & Electronic Engineering student at the University of Uyo, which means I'm building at the intersection of software and hardware — and that gives me a different perspective from most frontend devs.

When I'm not coding, I'm sketching out technical drawings, learning something new, or thinking about the next wave to make. I believe technology should solve real problems, and I try to build with that in mind every single day.

My Journey

01
The Beginning

First line of code

Started with HTML & CSS — built my first webpage and got hooked immediately. The feedback loop of write → see → improve was addictive.

02
Growing

JavaScript & real interactivity

Added JS to the toolkit. Built my first interactive projects — things that actually responded to users. WAVE-X came out of this phase.

03
Leveling Up

React & building platforms

Learned React and started building more complex products — the UNIUYO portal, EemmPaTech-Empire, and the currency converter.

NOW
Now

Building DC & making waves

Currently working on DC — an AI-powered document creation app. Freelancing, building, learning, and pushing further every week.

What Drives Me

Core Values

Q1

Quality Over Quantity

I'd rather build one thing right than five things rushed. Every project gets my full attention and care.

WV

Make Waves

Don't blend in. Build things that stand out, that people remember, that actually move the needle.

CG

Continuous Growth

The best developer version of me is always ahead. I'm always learning, always improving, never settling.

PF

People First

Code is for humans. I build with the end user in mind — accessible, intuitive, and genuinely useful.
